Scott Hunter (Assistant Professor of Psychiatric Medicine) is Director of the Learning Needs and Evaluation Center and a staff clinical psychologist with the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services in the Department of Student Health. He is one of the Division of Student Affairs' liaisons to the LGBTU. Dr. Hunter has specific expertise in psychosocial and neuropsychological issues related to HIV infection and sexual orientation, and is available for consultation by appointment.
Claire Kaplan (Sexual Assault Education Coordinator) Abusive relationships in same-sex couples,
sexual assault of lesbians and gay men, identity issues, coming out issues,
parenting/adoption, networking.

adoption related issues, and American Sign Language and deaf culture.

CAPS Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Support Group - A support group which helps sudents to deal with a wide variety of concerns related to being gay, lesbian, or bisexual.
LGBTU Lesbian, Gay,
Bisexual, Transgender Union at the University of Virginia Lambda Law Alliance - Law Students at the University of Virginia. This UVA law student group is dedicated to representing the interests of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered persons in the law school, university, and local communities.
