The University of Virginia Women's Club cordially invites you to be part of an exciting year of social, intellectual and philanthropic activities. Membership in the UVA Women's Club is open to women members of the University Faculty and wives of members of the Faculty with the rank of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Instructor, and Lecturer. It is also open to wives and women members of the University's Administrative Staff, Research Staff, and Department of Athletics. Become part of the University community by joining this organization. New members are always welcome. There are four types of memberships: Active, Honorary, Associate, and Newcomer.  Eligibility for each type of membership is described below.

Active: A member of, or a wife of a member of, the Faculty, Administration, Research,

            Teaching and Athletic Department staffs. 

Honorary: Retiree, Wife of a Retiree or Widow of a member of the Faculty,

            Administration,  Research, Teaching and Athletic Department staffs. 

Associate: A formerly eligible member no longer eligible for active membership for

            reasons  other than retirement. (e.g., spouse no longer employed by U.Va.,

            divorce, or separation).

Newcomer: First two years as member of UVa Women's Club.
