Book Buddies -
Make a difference in a life; help a child learn to read.
Book Buddies is a nationally recognized tutorial program that enlists
trained volunteers to provide
instruction to first and second grade children who need extra help to learn to
read and write. Tutors volunteer
twice a week, at a regularly scheduled hour during the school day, and work with
the same child throughout the year. Strong
training, lots of support, all materials provided.
